For ultimate power, performance and control, Latiga Server can be installed on your own servers.
Latiga runs in parallel with your web server. The <img> tag is used to point to a Latiga file, instead of pointing to a Jpeg or Gif image file. Latiga files are text files similar in syntax to HTML, and are maintained as easily as HTML files, through FTP uploads or other more elaborate content management solutions.
Since this integration is seamless and transparent to the web server, Latiga integrates with any development or content management environment, such as Documentum™, Filenet™ or Vignette™. Files can be maintained and updated as easily as all other content on a web site.
